Nothing belongs to us.
There is an owner of all creations of the earth and that is God. God created people, animals and all objects.
Of these, we were created in God’s form, and were appointed as ‘the Lord’s servant’ to look after his creations.
A ‘servant’ must immediately give back to the ‘owner’ if he says “I will use it”.
We all need a ‘servant mindset’- having a mentality of “Nothing belongs to me. Everything has an owner”.
We mustn’t ignore a straying sheep. We must look after it and return it to its owner.
Let us take a moment today to look around ourselves for a straying sheep.
Passage: Deuteronomy 22:1~12
1 If you see your fellow Israelite’s ox or sheep straying, do not ignore it but be sure to take it back to its owner.
2 If they do not live near you or if you do not know who owns it, take it home with you and keep it until they come looking for it. Then give it back.
3 Do the same if you find their donkey or cloak or anything else they have lost. Do not ignore it.
4 If you see your fellow Israelite’s donkey or ox fallen on the road, do not ignore it. Help the owner get it to its feet.

2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
