When people think about those that go to church, they think something should be different, but when they become close to them in person or work together, they find that they are no different from non-believers.

That is why the number of ‘Canaanite believers’ who decide to quit church after attending churches or believe God alone at home is increasing.
Why did they become disappointed with the church? Because they were expecting churches to be heaven. Those who visit the church have the desire to live a religious life in an idealistic church. However, the appearance of the churches on this earth is closer to that of a hospital rather than of heaven. In other words, the church is a place where sinners are saved, a place where spiritual diseases are healed, a place where people who are arrogant, selfish, greedy, who steals, and addicted to alcohol, tobacco and other drugs gather to be transformed and healed by God’s love.
The appearance of the church that the Lord thinks is not limited to the gathering of the church members to worship. It is a place where sinners gather to be saved and healed. The purpose of the hospitals in the world is to cure physical diseases, but the purpose of the churches is to heal and save the souls. Just as people who feel and admit that they are sick, go to a hospital, the appearance of a church that the Lord seeks is a place where people gather who acknowledge that it is impossible to stand upright without God and hope for the Lord’s help.
If a church is a hospital, there must be a warm atmosphere of forgiving one another and tolerance for mistakes. So, people able to share their secrets and ask for help when problems arise. Just as the hospitals don’t criticise sick people for being unable to do live their life properly.
