Jesus is the one who does not break a bruised reed or snuff out a smouldering wick. When we face a person who is like a bruised reed, don't we often try to break them, shout loudly and fight?
I want to live today like the Lord who endured until the end and saved me, who was like a bruised reed and a smoldering wick.
Passage to read: Matthew 12:14-21
19 He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear his voice in the streets.
20 A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out, till he has brought justice through to victory.
21 In his name the nations will put their hope.”
