          • The one in charge of my life...

Philip the Deacon instantly obeys the Lord’s angel and experiences God’s amazing plan as shown in today’s passage.
I meditate on how we too can obey God like Philip. Letting God lead my life and responding to God’s words by obeying Him will allow me to experience God working in my life.

Who is the lord of my life?
Who is in charge of my life?
As I see Philip in today’s passage, I reflect on myself through God’s Word.

            Passage: Acts 8:26-40

26 Now an angel of the Lord said to Philip, “Go south to the road—the desert road—that goes down from Jerusalem to Gaza.”
27 So he started out, and on his way he met an Ethiopian eunuch, an important official in charge of all the treasury of the Kandake (which means “queen of the Ethiopians”). This man had gone to Jerusalem to worship,
28 and on his way home was sitting in his chariot reading the Book of Isaiah the prophet.
29 The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.”
30 Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked.

            1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
            2. What is God’s message to you?
            3. What do you need to obey?
            4. What are you grateful for today?
