Despite the numerous opportunities to repent King Zedekiah disobeyed God, and eventually met a terrible death.
It was a tragic result of not listening God's warning.
If there are aspects of our lives we need to rethink, God will speak through the Word and worship.
I hope that in our lives will be able to listen to His words and put into practice the things we need to repent of and the things we need to obey.
Reading: Jeremiah 39:1-18
6 The king of Babylonia executed Zedekiah's sons at Riblah before Zedekiah's sight. The Babylonian king also executed all the nobles of Judah.
7 And the king took out Zedekiah's eyes, and bound him with chains to lead him to Babylon.
8 The Babylonian soldiers set fire to the palace and private houses, and tore down the walls of Jerusalem.
