Those who feared the enemy in the promised land greater than their faith in God could not enter into the land. Through the human eye, it may seem fearful, yet if we could see through God’s eyes it is a land which flowery with milk and honey. Likewise, the world may seem fearful to us, but through the gaze of faith, it is a blessed place where God has given us and he wants our lives in this land to be full of happiness and joy.
We are currently experiencing a continuation of hardships, if we are unable to see the situation with the gaze of God, we will defeat by circumstances just like the Israelites. We should hold onto the promise of God and live with Courage.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (Jeremiah 29:11 )
Passage: Deuteronomy 1:34-46
35 “No one from this evil generation shall see the good land I swore to give your ancestors,
36 except Caleb son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on because he followed the Lord wholeheartedly.”
