In today's passage, Elizabeth and Mary enjoyed fellowship and sang praises because of Jesus Christ. They had such fellowship and sang joyful hymns just because of the fact that Mary was pregnant with Jesus. If this is so, what should we do when we have received the grace of salvation from Jesus?
I hope that all of our lives can be a life of joyful fellowship in the grace of the Lord, blessing each other, serving each other and praising with one heart.
Passage to read: Luke 1:39-56
41 When Elizabeth heard Mary’s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
42 In a loud voice she exclaimed: “Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the child you will bear!
43 But why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?44 As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy.
