The new year 2022 has dawned. I hope you start the new year with the Word. Today the priest Zechariah and his wife Elizabeth suffered the pain of bearing no children. However, even in the midst of pain, they always tried their best to follow Lord’s Word and remain in the Lord.
I hope we will also ‘remain in the Lord’ throughout this year. I pray in hopes that we will be followers of Christ who faithfully carries out the mission that God has given us and obeys the Word.
What is the mission given to us?
Let’s meditate on it once more.
Passage to read: Luke 1: 1-10
5 In the time of Herod king of Judea there was a priest named Zechariah, who belonged to the priestly division of Abijah; his wife Elizabeth was also a descendant of Aaron.
6 Both of them were righteous in the sight of God, observing all the Lord’s commands and decrees blamelessly.
7 But they were childless because Elizabeth was not able to conceive, and they were both very old.
