I meditate about what the centre of my life is.
A ‘Jesus-centred’ live is a key distinguisher that differentiates people who believe in Jesus from people who don’t. And to believe in Jesus is to die with Him on the cross, to live with Him now and participate in His eternal glory.
I desire to live today only by the death and life of Jesus. I desire to live by being satisfied in Christ alone, confessing ‘Nothing please, Jesus’ rather than saying ‘Jesus, something please’.
Passage to read: 2 Timothy 2:1-13
10. Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory.
11 Here is a trustworthy saying: If we died with him, we will also live with him;
12 if we endure, we will also reign with him. If we disown him, he will also disown us;
