The world in front of Prophet Habakkuk’s eyes was chaos itself. Also, there were no solutions to the worry, conflict and problems caused by it.
However, even in that situation, Habakkuk didn’t forget who God was.
He didn’t forget that God is never shaken and that He is like a firm rock who he can depend on whatever the situation and at any time.
Just like when Habakkuk lived in the past, the world we live in seems absurd, where injustice prevails, the wicked prosper, and the righteous live with countless hardships.
But even in these kinds of situations, we must firmly trust in God alone.
I hope that we can live with strong faith in God without forgetting who God is.

2 How long, Lord, must I call for help, but you do not listen? Or cry out to you, “Violence!” but you do not save?
3 Why do you make me look at injustice? Why do you tolerate wrongdoing? Destruction and violence are before me; there is strife, and conflict abounds.
4 Therefore the law is paralyzed, and justice never prevails. The wicked hem in the righteous, so that justice is perverted.
