A miner who cannot see what is in front of him, has to dig the dark and cold underground, blindly uses his strength and skills. And when he finds treasure by chance it is joyful, but when he can’t find any treasure, he can’t help it.
However to the sons and daughters who believe in God, God says that He has revealed to us about a treasure that is hidden away.
That treasure is known as ‘salvation’ and it is also known as ‘grace’; It is the ‘power of the cross’.
The treasure that God has hidden is inside the Word.
Even though life’s road is dark and the future looks bleak because of hardship, I hope that you can remember that there is ‘a way’ that God hides in His Word.
I hope that we can have a day of joy, gratitude, restoration and grace as we discover the treasures in the bible.
Passage: Job 28:1~11
3 Mortals put an end to the darkness; they search out the farthest recesses for ore in the blackest darkness.
4 Far from human dwellings they cut a shaft, in places untouched by human feet; far from other people they dangle and sway.
5 The earth, from which food comes, is transformed below as by fire;
