In verses 1-6 in today’s passage, Job explains the weaknesses of mankind. Of course, when he spoke of human frailty like this, he hoped that God will have compassion on such a life and hoped that He would take away the pain that had been inflicted on him. By nature, humans are extremely fragile beings.
When we acknowledge our weakness and humble ourselves before God, God takes care of us.
I hope that we can live a life acknowledging our weaknesses and live a humble life before God and people around us.
Passage to read: Job14:1-12
4 Who can bring what is pure from the impure?
No one!
5 A person’s days are determined;
you have decreed the number of his months
and have set limits he cannot exceed.
6 So look away from him and let him alone,
till he has put in his time like a hired laborer.
