Job describes himself as a windblown leaf. In the midst of suffering, he confesses how weak and futile his life was. Then he confesses his sins before God.
Suffering allows you to look at your inner yourself. It makes you realise that you lived your temporary life pursuing only the external things that are visible. You realise that your life is full of sin and shortcomings.
Fallen leaves blown by the wind are beautiful. Fallen leaves do not fall to the ground and disappear, but become manure again for trees. When spring arrives, the trees that have grown with the fertility of the land given by these fallen leaves will sprout new leaves from their branches again. And it forms a dense forest. So the leaves wait for the spring of resurrection.

24 Why do you hide your face and consider me your enemy?
25 Will you torment a windblown leaf? Will you chase after dry chaff?
26 For you write down bitter things against me and make me reap the sins of my youth.
