What is more important than earnestness is having the right direction. Job’s suffering was so unbearable that he pleads with God to leave him alone. Job thought that it was God who was tormenting him.
But God is not the one tormenting us.
Who is God? In one word, God is love.
Sometimes God can grant us the blessing of suffering so that we can do better.
Rather, it is more frightening for God to just leave our lives alone.
May we always rely on the Lord who is always faithful to us.
May we always long for the peace that the Lord gives us rather than the peace of life.
