If someone is a ‘holy person’ at church, they seem like a very boring person.
But holiness is not just a feeling that people feel externally.
Being holy is showing our relationship with God through our lives. The Pharisees had an external appearance of holiness but in reality were hypocrites who were different inside and out.
Are we not like the Pharisees who only had the shape of holiness?
I hope that we can pray to achieve a holy life, a sound service, and healthy spirituality through a correct relationship with God.
Through these changes in our lives, many people will favour us and also be able to return to God.
Passage: 1 Timothy 3:14-4:5
14 Although I hope to come to you soon, I am writing you these instructions so that,
15 if I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth.
16 Beyond all question, the mystery from which true godliness springs is great: He appeared in the flesh, was vindicated by the Spirit, was seen by angels, was preached among the nations, was believed on in the world, was taken up in glory.
