- The reason for continued battles and evil deeds
  
  During the period of Judges, people did as they saw fit as they did not have a king.
  Why do we go through endless battles in our lives? Are we not looking for manly ways out of our battles? Why do we suffer in confusion of our values? Today’s passage tells us it’s because God is not the king of our lives.
