After building the tabernacle, Bezalel and the other workers of God who had been called upon start to make sacred objects, the ark and the bread.
Inside the ark was the two stones of the Ten Commandments that Moses received on Mount Sinai, the cane of Aaron and an urn holding manna.
But these are things which should also be in our hearts.
It should be Jesus who has given us the word, Jesus who died and resurrected from the cross, and God who is the bread of life.
Let’s take time to deeply meditate on whether or not the sacred objects inside our hearts are Jesus or not.
Passage: Exodus 37:1-16
1 Bezalel made the ark of acacia wood—two and a half cubits long, a cubit and a half wide, and a cubit and a half high.
2 He overlaid it with pure gold, both inside and out, and made a gold molding around it.
3 He cast four gold rings for it and fastened them to its four feet, with two rings on one side and two rings on the other.
