God says that anyone whose heart prompts them to, may bring the resources needed to build the Tabernacle where God would dwell. Participating in bringing these offerings for the work of the tent was not about how much of a certain resource was brought but about if their heart was willing and out of joy, to offer their resources. When we worship and serve God, let us not think of our possessions as a waste but have a completely joyful heart and give thanks to the One who has provided us with all we have.

4 Moses said to the whole Israelite community, “This is what the LORD has commanded:
5 From what you have, take an offering for the LORD. Everyone who is willing is to bring to the LORD an offering of gold, silver and bronze;
