‘Glorious’ also means ‘to adorn’.
Thus, it means we ought to adorn God’s name through our lives.
So in order to glorify God’s name, we must wear ‘sacred garments’ fit for the Lord’s people.
God commanded Moses to “make sacred garments for the priests that serve me, for glory and beauty.”
Then what is the ‘sacred garment’ we ought to put on as ones who serve the Lord?
I deeply meditate whether it should be garments of love and sacrifice Jesus has shown us.
Passage: Exodus 28:1~14
1 “Have Aaron your brother brought to you from among the Israelites, along with his sons Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar, so they may serve me as priests.
2 Make sacred garments for your brother Aaron to give him dignity and honor.
3 Tell all the skilled workers to whom I have given wisdom in such matters that they are to make garments for Aaron, for his consecration, so he may serve me as priest.
