“A sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead” means you must keep this Word and not forget it wherever you go.
Thus, Moses is asking the Israelites to remember God who saved them from Egypt and live according to the Word every moment of their lives.
Then how should we live in this current day as people of God? We must also live according to the Word of God.
The only unchanging standard for a believer should be the Word of God, regardless of past or present.
I hope our lives can live according to the Word of God.
Passage to Read: Exodus 13:1-10
9 This observance will be for you like a sign on your hand and a reminder on your forehead that this law of the Lord is to be on your lips. For the Lord brought you out of Egypt with his mighty hand
10 You must keep this ordinance at the appointed time year after year.
My Daily Devotional
1. Today’s Gratitude (5 points)
