In this era of COVID-19, the ‘church’ is probably the most hated by the world.
When friends, colleagues or other acquaintances ask ‘do you go to church?’ people are hesitant to respond because the world currently detests the ‘church’.
However, the ‘church’ has long been persecuted.
But the ‘church’ did not give in to the world’s ‘persecution’ because God has been protecting them and there were ‘believers’ that kept their faith till the end.
Are you afraid of the world’s hatred for the church? Or are you afraid of the sovereign God?
What would you do if the world hated you solely because you ‘believed in Jesus’?
Passage: Matthew 10:16~33
22 You will be hated by everyone because of me,but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.
32 “Whoever acknowledges me before others, I will also acknowledge before my Father in heaven.
33 But whoever disowns me before others, I will disown before my Father in heaven.”
