David wanted to build a temple that will best lift the name of God.
To make sure this was not his will he got it inspected by the prophet Nathan to make sure it was the right thing to do.
The prophet allowed David to build the temple not by his will but by the will of God and Solomon.
David prayed and completed the construction of the temple.
Because he wanted everything to be done by the exact way God wanted it to be.
Today a lot of churches do things for the will of God. But we need to know if this is the true will of God. Because God’s will can differ Frol our own.
