Those who are sure of their mission (calling) are happy. They can persevere and endure any hardship, because they have a reason and confidence of what they are doing.
However, if we didn’t have a ‘calling’ of our work, we will waver when faced with a problem.
We are God’s people, called by Him.
The reason God has called us out of darkness into His wonderful light is to boast in Him and to share the Gospel with unbelievers. (1 Peter 2:9)
As I meditate on Paul’s mission (calling), I reflect on why God has called me as a believer, a Shepherd, to my job and to my family.
Passage: Romans 15:14~21
16 to be a minister of Christ Jesus to the Gentiles. He gave me the priestly duty of proclaiming the gospel of God, so that the Gentiles might become an offering acceptable to God, sanctified by the Holy Spirit.
17 Therefore I glory in Christ Jesus in my service to God.
