Ever since I believed in Jesus, I’ve always thought, ‘I want to live like Jesus!’
I wanted to love my brothers, hate evil, be devoted to others and honour them, be patient in affliction and pray, and help those in need, just like Jesus did, because I believed this to be the image of a true Christian.
Could we also ‘live like Jesus and like Paul?’
We may not be able to through our own will.
But through the ‘Holy Spirit’ that has been given to us and if we had a ‘burning heart for souls’, wouldn’t it be possible for us to live like Jesus!
I want to meditate together today on how we can show love to our neighbours.
Passage: Romans 12:9~14
9 Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good.
10 Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.
11 Never be lacking in zeal, but keep your spiritual fervor, serving the Lord.
12 Be joyful in hope, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
5. How will you apply the Word today?
