          • Grace that grafts us in.

If a branch from an olive tree was unhealthy the farmer would break that branch and graft in another banch from a wild olive tree so that it could receive nourishment from the roots of the olive tree and in turn, produce fruits.
We, as sinners who had no way out of death, by faith have encountered the grace that grafted us in and thereby are producing fruits received from the nourishment that come from the roots.
Hence, we cannot gain the grace that grafted us through good deeds or any of our abilities.
It is only through Jesus that we receive this grace as a gift and for all those who believe, we can bear fruits that come from the roots of God's word that gives life.

We need to live a life that is not broken off because it is unhealthy and useless in producing fruits. To do this we need to stay close to the Spirit and receive plenty of its supplements so that we can bear fruits.

            Passage to read: Romans 11:11-24
17 If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root,
18 do not consider yourself to be superior to those other branches. If you do, consider this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.

            1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
            2. What is God’s message to you?
            3. What do you need to obey?
            4. What are you grateful for today?
            5. How will you apply the Word today?
