          • It Was Not I Who Did It

Moses reminds the new generation of Israel about his sacrificial intercessory prayers for the Israelites, which he prayed about while putting his life at risk. Through this, he tells them that the fact that they were able to enter and experience the abundance of Canaan was not because of their own righteousness or contributions, but rather only because of God’s compassion and grace. When we reflect back on our lives, how many things were there that happened through our righteousness or strength alone?
We are people who cannot live without God’s compassion and grace.
I hope that we all live a life where we look at and seek God’s grace in every aspect of our lives.

27 Remember your servants Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Overlook the stubbornness of this people, their wickedness and their sin.
