We all go through wilderness experience in our walk with God. It is a place of dark, unendurable hardships and hunger. He led through the wilderness to humble and test us so that we become his true disciples. He wants us to stay strong in faith to overcome worldly temptations and humbly live by his power, not ours.
Wilderness is a place where we only have God to depend on. The wilderness is a place where God sent people to grow closer to Him, to learn that he is the only provider and the provider who leads them to the land of hope. I encourage you to fix your eyes on God when you are going through the wilderness
Deuteronomy 8:1-10
2 Remember how the Lord your God led you all the way in the wilderness these forty years, to humble and test you in order to know what was in your heart, whether or not you would keep his commands.
3 He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your ancestors had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the Lord.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
