People who do not believe in God has a life goal of being successful in this world.
This is because they believe this world is all there is.
Therefore, they consider it a blessing when their present life is problem-free and hassle-free.
However, for us believers of God, this world is not our life goal, so we must be able to handle the disadvantages and inconveniences we face here because the everlasting Kingdom of God is awaiting us.
Let our lives focus more on the Kingdom of God and we will gain the courage and boldness we need to overcome this world.
Passage: John 18:28-40
36 Jesus said, “My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jewish leaders. But now my kingdom is from another place.”
37 “You are a king, then!” said Pilate.
Jesus answered, “You say that I am a king. In fact, the reason I was born and came into the world is to testify to the truth. Everyone on the side of truth listens to me.”
