          • Let us love

Today, Jesus tells us to “love each other as I have loved you.” And he set an ‘example of love’ by dying on the cross for our sins.

To do something ‘as’ something means to do the same as He has done.
            Do we love each other?
Do we not hate our brothers, envy them, mock and criticise, or even curse them?
Through today’s Scripture, let us look back at ourselves and see whether or not we ‘love our neighbours’, love the bodies of the community in which we belong, and whether I am ready to sacrifice myself and serve them as Jesus did. Also, whether I have a heart of compassion for all nations of the world!

I repent of the lack of love in my heart and pray, “Lord, pour into my heart mercy and love for souls.”

            Passage: John 15:9~17

12 My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you.
13 Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.
14 You are my friends if you do what I command.

            1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
            2. What is God’s message to you?
            3. What do you need to obey?
            4. What are you grateful for today?
