Festus examined Paul sitting on a judgement court. Jews brought many serious charges against him, which they could not prove. Festus, wishing to do the Jews a favor, asked Paul for going up to Jerusalem and standing trial.
However, Paul answered "I have done nothing wrong and I appeal to Ceasar"
I meditated why Paul dared to say "I apeal to Ceasar".
The reason Paul eagered to go to Rome even as a convict was that he had not completed what he was called to do. Paul could not secure his life yet had a trial before Emporor.
Paul, as a Roman citizen, used the last chance of "the right of apeal to Emporor" for the Gospel, for preaching the gospel of Jesus and fulfilling his missions.
I questioned to myself that "Am I willing to renounce a privilege, right or all the things that I have and enjoy?"
Can you lay down the very last one that you have for the Kingdom of God and saving one's life?
Acts 25:6-12

11. If, however, I am guilty of doing anything deserving death, I do not refuse to die. But if the charges brought against me by these Jews are not true, no one has the right to hand me over to them. I appeal to Caesar!"
12. After Festus had conferred with his council, he declared: "You have appealed to Caesar. To Caesar you will go!"
