Jesus spoke to us for the importance of our position to listen to the gospel through the parable of the sower. Though listening a great gospel, if our hearts are not prepared to be good soil, we will soon forget or lose them easily. Today, the governor Felix is not ready to accept the gospel in his heart yet. Because he had a desire of the world.
If we want to change our lives by the fruits of gospel, first, we need to be prepared to accept the gospel to our hearts. Are you ready to believe and accept the gospel ?
(Acts 24:24 - 25:5)
24. Several days later Felix came with his wife Drusilla, who was Jewish. He sent for Paul and listened to him as he spoke about faith in Christ Jesus.
26. As Paul talked about righteousness, self-control and the judgment to come, Felix was afraid and said, “That’s enough for now! You may leave. When I find it convenient, I will send for you.”
27. At the same time he was hoping that Paul would offer him a bribe, so he sent for him frequently and talked with him.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey today?
4. What are you grateful for today?
