Those who love God’s grace, trust wholly in the Word of promise the Lord has given us, and humbly go forth, will see God and receive the Lord’s Kingdom as a legacy.
However, those who are arrogant like the Pharisees, claiming that they knew God and knew the Word of truth, may well become ‘spiritually blind’ as God’s judgement, just as Jesus had told the Pharisees.
This is because the arrogant do not seek Jesus. The arrogant do not seek God. They do not seek God’s grace. They see God’s work with their very own eyes yet do not believe. And there are so many Christians like this today.
Those who seek Jesus will find Him.
Jesus gives to those who seek.
Jesus performs miracles for those who rely on Him.
Amazing things will happen when we believe that ‘there is power in the name of Jesus’.
So today, let us humbly put our trust in the Lord and go forth with faith.
Passage: John 9:35~41
38 Then the man said, “Lord, I believe,” and he worshiped him.
39 Jesus said, “For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind.”
40 Some Pharisees who were with him heard him say this and asked, “What? Are we blind too?”
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
