          • Let’s crossover the line of religion

When the blind man received his sight the response of the people around him were not focussed on what Jesus had actually done but were rather distracted by other things. They were arguing why did He open them on a Sabbath? How can a sinner perform such signs? There were some disputes among them. Yesterday night at the Wednesday service, pastor Young Joo Kim shared the message titled “Crossover the line.” He talked about how many Christians set their own standards and draw a line in their faith that they are not able to move further and are tied back to where they are. They draw lines in their faith like “I’ll only go to Sunday service..” “I will never become a shepherd.”
You can only fulfil the life of a true Christian and live a great life God has installed for you when you crossover the lines you have already set.

            Passage to read: John 9:13-34
13 They brought to the Pharisees the man who had been blind. 14 Now the day on which Jesus had made the mud and opened the man’s eyes was a Sabbath. 15 Therefore the Pharisees also asked him how he had received his sight. “He put mud on my eyes,” the man replied, “and I washed, and now I see.”
16 Some of the Pharisees said, “This man is not from God, for he does not keep the Sabbath.”
But others asked, “How can a sinner perform such signs?” So they were divided.
17 Then they turned again to the blind man, “What have you to say about him? It was your eyes he opened.”

            1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
            2. What is God’s message to you?
            3. What do you need to obey?
            4. What are you grateful for today?
