Jesus was heading to Samaria after leaving Judea, and there was the well that Jacob had dug.
Jesus meets a Samaritan woman who has come to collect water, and He gives water to the woman.
The water that He gave the woman was water which never allows thirst and provides eternal life.
What is this water? This water is Jesus who is eternal life; Jesus who fills the thirst in our soul, Jesus who is Immanuel and always walks with us in our lives when we are lonely.
When we meet Jesus we can finally fulfill our thirst.
Have you met Jesus?
I hope that we can long for Jesus who will fill our soul’s thirst.

13 Jesus answered, “Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again,
14 but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give them will become in them a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
