Church is a holy temple where we gather up to praise God, learn his words and encounter him through prayers. In that holy space, if we are only seeking for our own benefits of worldly values they become distractions from true worship and the church loses the meaning.
If our hearts are filled with sins that there is no place for God, we can no longer be the temple of god.
Let’s reflect on ourselves and repent if we love idols over God and have filled your heart with worldly values. I pray that we can all become holy temple of God and let him stay in our hearts.
Passage: John 2:12-25
14 In the temple courts he found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money.
15 So he made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; he scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.
16 To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market!”

3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
