  “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”. A wealthy man asked Jesus. Although he has been religiously keeping the law, his heart is tied with wealth. Jesus tells him “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, Then come, follow me”. At this, the man’s face fell and he went away sad.
  
  The wealthy man could not listen to Jesus because he did not believe Jesus’s promise of the eternal rewards in the heaven that is incomparable to the wealthy he has on earth, and that Jesus will protect him and guide him if he followed Jesus
  
  Jesus’ loving eyes sees something wrong with this man. “Could you let go of the thing you hold in your hands?” What bothering things is your heart tied to? If that is making you struggle to follow God with trust, seek help to the holy spirit that your heart is dedicated to God above all else.
  
  Passage: Mark 10:17-31
  21 Jesus looked at him and loved him. “One thing you lack,” he said. “Go, sell everything you have and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
  22 At this the man’s face fell. He went away sad, because he had great wealth.
  23 Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, “How hard it is for the rich to enter the kingdom of God!”
