A family must be built on biblical principles and order, like the relationship between Christ and the church.
The bible tells the wife to obey and respect the husband. This is not to create discrimination or hierarchy between male and female, but it is an order of the family that God has built.
The husband is told to love his wife like his own body. They must not force their power or patriarchal thoughts, but rather love their wife like their own body. When this happens, a family is built rightly.
What is stopping the happiness of our family? Let’s resolve to respect and love each other in order to build your family on biblical principles and order.
Passage: Ephesians 5:22-33
22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
