Today’s passage explains the appearance of people wearing a new person.
There is an interesting phrase in this. The passage says ‘do not let the sun go down while you are still angry’.
This is because it gives an opportunity for Satan, shown in verse 27.
When we get angry, Satan takes that opportunity to make us fall. To not given Satan a chance, we cannot have anger in us for a long time.
Someone wearing a new person who lives by the grace that saved them is someone who has taken off the appearance of their old selves.
If there are any of us who are angry, I hope that we can take these off and live a life in which we look at only God.
Passage: Ephesians 4:25-32
26 “In your anger do not sin”: Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry,
27 and do not give the devil a foothold.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
