  Satan the devil is usually depicted as malicious and cruel, and his image with horns and a sharp sword does indeed look evil.
  However, the devil that appears in today’s passage is different to what we commonly know. He is riding a white horse and wearing a crown, like somebody righteous. But in reality, he is evil, tempting and persecuting believers. If we are fooled by his outer appearance, he can catch us off guard and defeat us with his attack.
  
  Christians must be alert and seek discernment from God. This week, let us pray so that we can beware of the outer appearance and see the hidden truth that lies within.
  
  Passage: Revelation 6:1-8
  1 I watched as the Lamb opened the first of the seven seals. Then I heard one of the four living creatures say in a voice like thunder, “Come!”
  2 I looked, and there before me was a white horse! Its rider held a bow, and he was given a crown, and he rode out as a conqueror bent on conquest.
  
  1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
  2. What is God’s message to you?
  3. What do you need to obey?
