John sees a vision of the second beast.
The beast looked like a very frail and weak ‘little lamb’.
However the mouth of the ‘little lamb’ speaks words of a dragon.
From the outside it looked like a little lamb; a good being, but in reality it was an evil spirit speaking lies to make us fall into destruction.
We cannot judge anything based on what we can physically see.
We need spiritual discernment.
To have this, we need to be awake and pray.
We need to work hard to know more about God.
Therefore, through our lives lived with faith, we must defeat the being who tries to knock us over, using anything we can.
Passage: Revelations 13:11-18
11 Then I saw a second beast, coming out of the earth. It had two horns like a lamb, but it spoke like a dragon.
12 It exercised all the authority of the first beast on its behalf, and made the earth and its inhabitants worship the first beast, whose fatal wound had been healed.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
