          • Lukewarm faith

The Lord speaks to the church in Laodicea.
It is tragic not to be able to see your own wretchedness. You may say that you do not lack anything but the reality is that you are naked, pitiful and poor.
The Laodiceans’ faith was lukewarm, and God says that He wanted to spit them out of His mouth. But they thought they were doing well and without fault. We must restore our faith once again so we are not ashamed when faced with God.

            Passage: Revelation 3:7-13
16 So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. 17 You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. 18 I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.
19 Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline. So be earnest and repent.

            1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
            2. What is God’s message to you?
            3. What do you need to obey?
            4. What are you grateful for today?
