          • Training and Letters

While reading the bible today, I remembered when I got trained in the Korean Army.
As the training become more harsh as time passed, I felt my first burning heart and passion cool down.
However what gave me strength then was a letter from my parents.
It was a letter from my parents who prayed for me all night, watching and supporting my training.
Every time I received a letter, I left my heart heat up again.

I think what Jesus is trying to tell the churches through Revelation is the same.
Jesus knows about all their troubles, perseverance, oppression and hardships, and watches them.
Jesus is still with us today, and knows about our troubles and perseverance.
I pray that we can remember Jesus who is always looking down on us, and be victorious in our lives although they may be hard.

            Passage: Revelation 1:9-20

17 “When I saw him, I fell at his feet as though dead. Then he placed his right hand on me and said: “Do not be afraid. I am the First and the Last.
18 I am the Living One; I was dead, and now look, I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.
19 “Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later.

            1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?

            2. What is God’s message to me?

            3. What do I need to obey?

            4. Write a list of thankful prayer points.
