God made the Day of Atonement. On this day, God told the Israelites to stop all their daily work. During this day, God commanded to the Israelites to face their sins and truly repent to God.
Because of your sins, have you ever wailed and repented your sins to God? Or have you ever repented to God with honesty?
Let’s look back and reflect on your lives. Have you ever fallen into a habit of not repenting your sins to God and asking for his forgiveness?
We should put away our arrogance of thinking we can do everything in our busy lives without the help of God and in a humble manner let us seek God.
A true repentance is a way of going towards God and a way of saving ourselves.
Today’s Bible: Leviticus 22:23-32
27 “The tenth day of this seventh month is the Day of Atonement. Hold a sacred assembly and deny yourselves,[d] and present a food offering to the Lord.
28 Do not do any work on that day, because it is the Day of Atonement, when atonement is made for you before the Lord your God.
1. When you woke up today, did you think of Jesus?
2. What do you think God’s message is to you?
3. What do you have to obey?
4. Write down your thankful points.
