Please do not defile yourself through inappropriate sexual relationships,
giving your children to Molek to be sacrificed,
homosexuality,
having sexual relations with an animal, etc.
Please do not commit these sins even with your mind.
What we need is spiritual discernment towards sin and awareness of sin.
We can give in too easily to sin and be defeated.
Therefore, we must rely on the Holy Spirit to stop ourselves from falling into sin and to guard our hearts.
‘What sort of sin do you easily give into?’
‘What do you constantly defile yourself with?’
‘What is a sin you habitually commit’ without being aware of its sinfulness?
Let us rely on the Lord today so that we can be holy and wholly, a child of God.
Passage: Leviticus 18:19-30
20 “‘Do not have sexual relations with your neighbor’s wife and defile yourself with her.
22 “‘Do not have sexual relations with a man as one does with a woman; that is detestable.
24 “‘Do not defile yourselves in any of these ways, because this is how the nations that I am going to drive out before you became defiled.
