Who knows me the best? My family? Friends? Would they know my deepest thoughts and feelings? I don’t think that people around me know me that well. But God knows. He knows because He lets us see our reflection in His Word. And when we see ourselves and see that we have sinned, God will counsel us with words as sharp as a double-edged sword, sometimes penetrating so hard that we cry. We cannot hide anything from God. Wherever we are, whatever we do, He knows everything.
Therefore, we must stand in front of the mirror of the Word of God everyday. Today, I stand in front of our living God who knows me all too well.
•Passage: Hebrews 4:12-16
12 For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.
13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God’s sight. Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account.

2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
