We all respect the authority of the King (leader) of our country and follow the rules and regulations. Although we live in this world, we need to remember that we are God’s creations and he is our ultimate authority. Hence, we have to live in God’s will.
Why is it so troublesome maintaining our allegiance to God when we can follow the rules and regulations in our society. would it be because we value world more than God?.
Lord, help me today to get rid of all the idols and have you as my ultimate King. May your Kingdom come and Your will be done in my life.
Passage: Mark 12:13-27

But Jesus knew their hypocrisy. “Why are you trying to trap me?” he asked. “Bring me a denarius and let me look at it.”
16 They brought the coin, and he asked them, “Whose image is this? And whose inscription?” “Caesar’s,” they replied.
17 Then Jesus said to them, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.”
