          • Discovery of the lost Book of the Law.

Hilkiah the priest found the long forgotten Book of the Law in the temple.
How long have they lived without the word, that they found the Book of the Law there?
It sounds similar to a housewife finding food in the kitchen.
When King Josiah heard the words of the law, he tore his robe as a symbol of remorse.
Reformation does not happen in our lives because we have lost the word of God and because we are used to living our lives without His words.
As Amos the prophet said “ there will be a famine through the land- not a famine of food or a thirst for water, but a famine of hearing the words of the Lord” Amos 8:11-14
When the lost word of God is heard and lived it out through us, reformation will take place in our lives.

Passage to read: 2 Chronicles 34:14-33
14 While they were bringing out the money that had been taken into the temple of the Lord, Hilkiah the priest found the Book of the Law of the Lord that had been given through Moses. 15 Hilkiah said to Shaphan the secretary, “I have found the Book of the Law in the temple of the Lord.” He gave it to Shaphan.18 Then Shaphan the secretary informed the king, “Hilkiah the priest has given me a book.” And Shaphan read from it in the presence of the king.
19 When the king heard the words of the Law, he tore his robes.
