When we are completely surrounded by our enemies, when we can no longer gain victory with our human minds, when our future becomes dark and it seems like we are going to die, God is the only one we can seek and rely on.
Instead of trembling in fear because of the many enemies, we must bravely shout God's name just like the people of Judah did. God will remember and save us from our adversities when we blow the trumpet instead of holding up our blade.
Passage to read: 2 Chronicles 13:13-22
14 Judah turned and saw that they were being attacked at both front and rear. Then they cried out to the Lord. The priests blew their trumpets
15 and the men of Judah raised the battle cry. At the sound of their battle cry, God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.
16 The Israelites fled before Judah, and God delivered them into their hands.
Questions to think about:
1. Did I think about Jesus when I woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
