When Jesus asked Peter, “who do you say I am?” Peter replied, “You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” If Jesus were to ask me the same question, I would say, “You are God the Creator”.
The psalmist praises the Lord in verse 24 by saying, “How many are your works, Lord! In wisdom you made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.”
There is no doubt we were made by God as one of his creatures; therefore we must admit that we, as God’s creation, cannot be our own gods. We must also exalt God our Creator and praise Him every day.
We continue to try to be our own god. We want to be the star of the show.
We ask, how can we become the best in the world?
How can we outdo others?
How can we have more? and struggle through life.
But this is all in vain; only God the Creator can allow it to happen.
We must acknowledge God as our Creator and fully depend on Him.
We must also strive to experience God every day as the governor of our lives.
“Who do you say I am?”

teeming with creatures beyond number—
living things both large and small.

I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
