People think with prejudice.
They judge according to appearance, specs, nationality and much more.
But I am thankful that God does not judge our looks.
The church also judges according to external features, but God is not even 1% interested in these. His interests are completely different.
God looks at the centre of our hearts. Hearts that are directed to him.
This is the reason God loved Cornelius the Gentile.
How is your hearts?
Passage to read: Acts 10: 34-43
34 Then Peter began to speak: “I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism
35 but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right.
36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, announcing the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name.”
44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message.
Questions to think about:
1. Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God telling me?
3. What do I need to be obedient with?
4. Write down your thankful prayer.
